Welcome Friends!
Think about it...
Through the Central Mass AIDS Africa project,
you can help make a difference in the lives of our African brothers and sisters who are suffering from AIDS.
We are partnering with World Vision, several area churches, groups and individuals to reach out to area communities to raise funds for AIDS Caregiver Kits. Fundraising will take place between September 1st and October 25th.
We will then gather on the morning of November 14, 2009 at Hope Chapel (directions) in Sterling, MA to assemble the kits for shipment to AIDS caregivers in Africa.
To get involved as a donor or volunteer, please visit our How to Help page.
The Cost
Each AIDS Caregiver Kit requires a donation of $28. We have a goal of 500 caregiver kits; that’s a commitment of raising $14,000. With God’s help, we can do this.
Think about it: each $28 kit costs less than an evening at the movies for a family of four; less than a week’s worth of lattes; less than pizza night; less than a round of golf, or a tank of gas.
Think about it: a $28 donation is less than the average monthly income in some African nations.
Think about it: Imagine laying on the ground in a hot mud hut somewhere in Africa; you have AIDS and you are weak and hopeless. Then, along comes someone who really cares, who serves you with God’s love and eases your suffering. This brings hope and dignity; this is the difference made each day by World Vision volunteers and AIDS Caregiver Kits.
Think about it: Be a sponsor. Be a professional sponsor. Volunteer. Tell your friends. Tell your family. Spread the word.

Caregiver Kits & AIDS
AIDS is probably the greatest humanitarian crisis of our time. On average, a child loses a parent to AIDS every 14 seconds of every day. In the face of this tragic healthcare crisis, over 60,000 dedicated volunteers and family members are caring for victims struggling to live with HIV in Africa, Asia, and Latin America.
Sadly, many of these tireless caregivers don’t even have the most basic items needed to help prolong lives and comfort the sick or even to protect themselves from infection.
We are coordinating this AIDS Caregiver Kit event through World Vision, to equip these caregivers with the practical materials they need to bring dignity and comfort to those living with AIDS.
